The ESG certification service is provided by Asociația Română pentru Smart City (Romanian Smart City Association, ARSC), registered office at Integral Business Center, Bd. Pipera nr. 1-IA, Voluntari 077190, Ilfov, Romania; email: [email protected].
Through the esg.arsc.ro platform, ARSC provides: (a) the ESG assessment service: analysis of 27 indicators across the three ESG pillars and issue of the assessment report; (b) the ESG certification service: issue of the ARSC ESG certificate to eligible organisations (minimum score 50/100).
The ESG assessment is charged at a fixed fee of EUR 1,250 + VAT. The ESG certificate is priced individually, and the price is communicated once the assessment is complete. Payment is made on the basis of a proforma invoice issued by ARSC. The certification process does not begin until payment for the assessment has been confirmed.
The assessment fee (EUR 1,250) is non-refundable once the analysis has started, whatever the score obtained. If the score is below 50 points (Grey Zone), the organisation receives the full assessment report with recommendations and may request a free reassessment within 90 days.
The ARSC ESG certificate is valid for 12 months from the date of issue. The same validity period applies to the Sustainable Energy Project Certification. When the certificate expires, the organisation may apply for renewal through a new assessment process.
The applicant undertakes to provide accurate and complete information. Providing false information or forged documents leads to the immediate invalidation of the certificate and may give rise to legal liability.
Certified organisations receive the non-exclusive right to use the "Validat ESG - ARSC" mark (Validated ESG) and the digital badge for the validity period of the certificate. Use after the certificate has expired is not permitted without renewal.
These terms are governed by Romanian law. Any dispute will be settled amicably or, failing that, by the competent courts of Romania.
